Other than being used in certain Asian cuisines, One of the other uses of Lemon grass is consuming it as a tea. Drinking Lemon grass tea is known for relieving anxiety, Lowering cholesterol, Preventing infection, Boosting oral health, Relieving pain, Boosting red blood cell levels, relieving bloating and boosting immunity. One stalk of Lemon grass to 3 cups of boiling water (for approximately 15 minutes) will produce some delicious healthy Lemon grass tea.

Cool info! My MIL made me a few cups with the dark asian variety and fresh young ginger. I was burrrrrning up! But felt invigorated afterwards. I still have some frozen lemongrass from her, I'm excited to make it and drink it in memory of her.
